how does someone get over the death of a child. To envision them as angels always near, I suppose, might be some comfort. But, I would think, even it turns eventually when day after day there is that relentless silence. Those comforts become as our granite markers, the object of our contemplation, weeping, lonely sobs, inconsolable anger.
Better perhaps, the silence emptiness of knowledge: you will never see them again. What you had with them was only once, each time, for once.
Love the ones you're with.

The Ethics of Protocol
- there is a difference between a system without collisions and a system with many collisions.
- collisions are events that occur that the protocol is establish to prevent or minimalize.
- well written protocol considers a wide array of problems, ranked (since some are missed) according to some ratio of fatal (some process fails) to common (high instance of probability).
- well written protocols do not embellish their basic task with tasks suited to other protocols
- there is no correct method in a protocol, only incorrect ones by failures and inefficiencies in the protocol
- One cannot measure one protocol by the considerations of evaluation of another.
